The Foresight Practitioner Conference (FPC) brings together business leaders, forecasting practitioners and preeminent researchers to network and critically explore the latest advances in forecasting. The conference’s aim is to improve forecast practice by showcasing the experts and organizations that significantly impact value.

2027 IIF Forecasting Practice Competition
The IIF is pleased to announce the third annual IIF Forecasting Practice Competition. Participants will compete for the IIF Award for the Impact of Forecasting in Practice, which includes a $10,000 prize for the first place winning team. The competition aims to recognize and showcase businesses or institutions that achieve significant impact by applying forecasting, while contributing to the forecasting community.
Important dates:
- Call for submissions – Application submission window is open now!
- Initial application deadline November 1, 2026
- Finalists announced by December 18, 2026
- Finalist application deadline January 31, 2027
- Conference and presentations at the Foresight Practitioner Conference on March 4-6, 2027
