The annual International Symposium on Forecasting (ISF), hosted by the International Institute of Forecasters (IIF), will be held at the University of Quebec in Montreal (UQAM) this year from June 28 – July 1.

Integrating academic research into forecasting practice, the ISF draws the world’s top forecasters and researchers, as presenters and participants, to unveil and discuss the latest advances in the profession.

In conjunction with the ISF, the ninth IIF Summer School, a two-day course that provides in-depth analysis of a cutting-edge topic in forecasting from an ISF-invited speaker, will be offered June 27-28 at the same venue. This year’s topic, Forecasting Risks, will be taught by Domenico Giannone, Professor of Economics and Statistics at Johns Hopkins University, and Leonardo Iania, Professor of Finance at the Louvain School of Management (LSM) – UCL.
