How did you become a forecaster?

I met wonderful people during my MSc programme at Lancaster, whose passion and knowledge motivated me to apply for a PhD in forecasting.

What areas of forecasting interest you?

Despite my quantitative background, I love analysing how people take decisions, work with tools, and adapt them to their own needs. I’m particularly interested in research questions related to processes, decision-making, human-computer interaction, and the use of support systems. Models can be tricky, but when combined with human input, they become especially interesting.

How has the International Journal of Forecasting influenced you?

It has allowed me to learn from leading experts, broaden my knowledge, and connect with outstanding researchers – thanks to both the journal and its community.

What do you do in your free time?

I enjoy painting and drawing, reading, and walking. I also have a drum set looking at me in despair.
