The International Institute of Forecasters (IIF) seeks to stimulate the creation, distribution, and application of knowledge on forecasting. In furtherance of these objectives, the IIF (1) encourages its individual members to speak at forecasting events and (2) seeks to engage in joint ventures with other organizations.
The IIF will consider joint ventures with other organizations, both commercial (for-profit) and non-commercial (not-for-profit), insofar as such collaborations are in accordance with IIF objectives. The collaboration may occur in organizing, publicizing, and/or implementing the forecasting event.

Oxford University Press | IMA Journal of Management Mathematics, 2016
Oxford Universtiy Press (OUP) produced a virtual issue on the subject of forecasting in management science in their journal, IMA Journal of Management Mathematics. The aim of this virtual issue is to stimulate dialogue between specialist forecasting researchers and more generalist Management Science researchers. The IIF and OUP worked together to co-promote this issue via The Oracle newsletter, social media, and our blog. In partnership, OUP promoted the International Symposium on Forecasting on their website, in social media and email campaigns.
INFORMS | Strategic Alliance, 2013
INFORMS and the IIF forged a co-marketing arrangement to further promote the benefits of membership in the two organizations. INFORMS offered discounted membership and analytics’ certification, website links and advertising in their newsletter. In turn, the IIF provided discounted membership for INFORMS members, prominent mention on our website and in our newsletter, The Oracle.
