Abstract Submissions

The ISF Program Committee looks forward to receiving abstracts and hearing inventive presentations that demonstrate again that the annual forecasting symposium is the premier forum where the latest forecasting research is presented. For a list of subject areas, click here.

  • There is a 400 word limit for abstracts.
  • You are only allowed to submit one abstract and give one talk. You may be listed as a co-author on additional papers.
  • An invited session consists of 3 or 4 talks around a specific, forecasting theme. As an organizer, you would need to find 2 or 3 other speakers who will speak on the related topic and invite them. Organizers of these sessions will be acknowledged and the sessions will be marked as such in the program. Proposals should be submitted to the .
  • Once you have been notified of your abstract’s acceptance, you must register in order to be included in the final program.  Please register by 14 April 2017.
