IIF Sponsored Workshops
For the past 18 years, The International Institute of Forecasters (IIF) has been sponsoring workshops, which focus on specific forecasting topics. The purpose of these workshops is to hold smaller, informal meetings where experts in a particular field of forecasting can discuss forecasting problems, research, and solutions. Following the usual refereeing process, papers from the workshops can often be included in a special issue of the International Journal of Forecasting. This past year has seen a record number of events, covering fields ranging from macroeconomics, forecasting for social good, as well as our first event in Africa.
