The Deutsche Bundesbank is looking to recruit several part-time (50%) research assistants, initially on a two-year contract, to work in the Research Centre at our Central Office in Frankfurt am Main. The Research Centre forges a link between the Deutsche Bundesbank’s practical work and academic theory. Our staff conduct research into economic topics and issues in the areas of banking supervision, financial stability and risk modelling. Your role will be to provide academic support to Research Centre staff in areas such as empirical and structural macroeconomics, banking and finance or macroeconomic forecasting. Working in an international team, you will contribute to the Deutsche Bundesbank’s decision-making process by providing insights into fundamental issues based on academic research. In your work, you will have access to an excellent IT and data infrastructure and have contact with leading international academics.
